BMP-23

BMP-23 is a Bulgarian infantry fighting vehicle developed in the 1980s as a better alternative to BMP-1 IFVs already in service. It utilizes a modified and up-armored 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled howitzer hull and is armed with 23mm autocannon, coaxial 7.62mm PKT machine gun and 9M14M Malyutka ATGM. 115 vehicles were built in total, some of which were deployed by the Bulgarian armed forces in Iraq. It remains in active service to this day.

This was one of my first projects where I used primarily Maya for modeling.
